Prior to the opening of the solo exhibition of Lalan: Endless Dance at Hong Kong Sotheby's S|2 Gallery, Ms. Catherine Kwai, Director of Lalan Archive, was invited to speak at the talk titled Portrait of Lalan conducted by Mr. Jonathan Wong, Gallery Director of Sotheby's Gallery. The talk gave a comprehensive introduction of Lalan's life history and analysis of her painting styles.
From 3 May to 18 May 2019, the solo exhibition Lalan: Endless Dance includes a selection of oil paintings and works on paper from Lalan's three main periods of creation, bringing the enduring avant-garde spirit of this remarkable Chinese female artist to revival.
